All-Purpose American Flavors
The thing to know about our all-purpose seasonings is how versatile they are. Want to jazz up any dish? Just reach for an all-purpose seasoning from our American Pantry. If you want even more, check out our Tableside Seasonings too.
Wash Park Garlic Pepper
Named for a beautiful park in south-central Denver where people run, bike, rollerblade, fish, picnic, play volleyball and tennis, and more. Considering the park’s "all-purpose nature," it seemed like the perfect name for one of our most versatile blends.
Mt. Elbert All-Purpose Seasoning
The highest peak in the state of Colorado and the second highest in the continental United States, Mt. Elbert deserves a mention when talking 14ers (mountains over 14,000 feet in elevation). Aptly named, this spice blend is a giant among our all-purpose seasonings. Though it is a simpler seasoning, our Mt. Elbert All-Purpose packs in great flavor as well as colorful presentation. It's good as a seasoning salt on everything from dips to dinner.
Mt. Hood Toasted Onion Rub
Mt. Hood is Oregon's highest mountain and is actually a dormant volcano. We thought it was the perfect namesake for the eruption of bold onion flavor in this blend because Eastern Oregon is one of the leading onion producers in America. With aromatic onion flavor and delightful smoky undertones, this rub is certainly an all-purpose blend.
Recipes
We have a bunch of tasty recipes for these flavorful seasonings. We can’t list them all here but we do have recipes featured on each spice's web page, so we encourage you to explore!
Caprese Steak
We combined two delicious dishes (caprese & steak) for a decadent and unique flavor. This impressive dish is easier than it looks and sophisticated enough for a date night or dinner party.
Southern Style Turnip Greens
Southern style greens usually involve bacon or ham and at least an hour or so of simmering on the stovetop. These simple yet hearty turnip greens make a great side for any BBQ meal or Southern-inspired menu.
Cumin Spiced Potato Salad
Spiked with tangy pickles (use dill or sweet pickles depending on taste preference), earthy cumin, and a ranch-inspired dressing spiced with one of our favorite all-purpose seasonings, this potato salad makes a refreshing side for barbecues or picnics.
Quick & Easy Guacamole
The secret to good guac is good seasoning. You could use any of our all-purpose seasonings in guacamole, but we love the bold burst of salt, onion, and pepper that Mt. Elbert brings to this dish.
Mt. Hood Pasta Salad
This super simple pasta salad is perfect for picnics, potlucks, lunches, and weeknight dinners. Feel free to make it your own with your favorite veggies or add-ins.
Toasted Onion Pizza Dough
This homemade pizza dough is quick enough to make for a weeknight dinner and enhanced with toasted onion flavor. Use with your favorite pizza, calzone, or stromboli recipes.
